More than a thousand Ukrainian companies working in the field of retail trade received letters with warnings through the Electronic Cabinet in order to prevent possible violations during settlement operations. About this reported Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko.
“Tax specialists analyzed their fiscal checks for March 2025. They noted that no cash transactions were reflected in their calculations. This may indicate the probable failure to carry out cash calculations through the PRO”, Kravchenko explained.
According to him, in the appeals, the tax service urges entrepreneurs to independently check their business transactions for past periods and in the future to avoid sales without the use of settlement transaction registrars.
“For the first time in history, the State Tax Service chose prevention of violations, rather than punishment”, – noted the head of the DPS.
He emphasized that the purpose of such messages is preventive:
“The correction will avoid grounds for conducting actual inspections. We are introducing such additional communication measures with taxpayers to encourage voluntary tax payment and compliance with tax discipline.”
