Ukraine and the IMF reached an agreement on the seventh revision of the EFF program

Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reached a staff-level agreement on the seventh revision of the Enhanced Financing Facility (EFF) program. About this reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“The total volume of the program is about 15.5 billion US dollars. We will be able to receive the next tranche after approval of the review by the Executive Board of Directors of the IMF. I thank the Government and NBU teams for their thorough work. I am grateful to the Foundation for its support and stable partnership.” – the message says.
We will remind that on March 31, 2023, the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved a four-year extended financing program (EFF), within which Ukraine will receive a loan in the amount of 15.6 billion dollars.
The program involves two main phases: the first is aimed at urgent financing until the end of the war, and the second is aimed at supporting post-war reconstruction.
