More than five thousand Ukrainians who applied to recruiting centers have already become candidates for service in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The largest number of applications were received for the positions of drivers, staff workers and operators of unmanned aerial vehicles. About this reported in the Ministry of Defense.
In general, since the opening of recruiting centers, 20,954 citizens have applied to them, including 804 people in the last week. According to the Ministry, of this number, 5,230 people have already officially become candidates for the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that recruiting centers open up opportunities not only for joining the Armed Forces, but also for other power structures, such as the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
Currently, there are 42 recruiting centers operating throughout the country. It is important to note that these institutions do not issue subpoenas, and all consultations are conducted on a confidential basis.
Previously, it was also reported about new functions for the military that will be added to the “Army+” mobile application.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers temporarily suspended the process of booking employees, which may affect the number of new candidates in the future.
