Ukrainians will be partially compensated for the purchase of machinery and energy equipment

Buyers of machinery and electrical equipment manufactured in Ukraine will be able to receive compensation in the amount of 15%. About this reported Ministry of Economy.

Yuliya Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, noted that the support program applies to producers who have reached the level of production localization of 40% or more.

It will be possible to receive compensation for goods purchased under the program before December 1, already in 2024. For this, it is necessary to submit an application by December 5. If the purchase is made after December 1, the compensation will be calculated in the following year. Applications will be funded on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the availability of budget funds.

Buyers of the following categories will receive compensation, excluding VAT:

  • Power equipment:
  • Industrial energy storage systems;
  • Solar panels, power plants and collectors;
  • Wind power plants and mini-hydroelectric plants;
  • Wind power, gas turbine, gas piston and cogeneration plants;
  • Transformers, distribution cabinets;
  • Heat pumps, individual heat points, recuperators and metering devices.
  • Wheeled machinery:
  • City, tourist and public buses, including low-floor and two-section buses;
  • Tanker trucks for the transportation of fuel and lubricants and fire stations;
  • Vans, trawlers, trailers and semi-trailers.
  • Construction, utility and special equipment:
  • Cranes, tower and earthmoving machines;
  • Forklifts, backhoe loaders;
  • Garbage trucks, sanitation and garbage collection machines, elevators;
  • Robotic demining machines and pyrotechnic equipment.

To participate in the program, manufacturers must submit an application to the Ministry of Economy in electronic form along with a list of goods for which buyers will be able to receive compensation and other necessary documents, including:

  • Information about the degree of localization of production;
  • Cost calculation;
  • Data on technological operations;
  • Calculation of the specific weight of labor costs.

After verification and approval by the Ministry of Economy, the goods will be included in the public list, and the information will be transferred to the banks through which the program is implemented.

  • Buyers will need:
  • Purchase equipment or equipment from the list in an authorized bank;
  • Apply for compensation;
  • Provide a copy of the payment document and the act of acceptance and transfer of equipment or equipment.
