Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the new composition of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed a decree approving the updated staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The relevant decree published on the website of the Office of the President.
According to the decree, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy remains the head of the NSDC. The post of secretary of the National Security Council was taken by the former Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov, who replaced Oleksandr Litvinenko in this position.
The updated composition of the NSDC included:
Herman Galushchenko — Minister of Justice,
Svitlana Grynchuk — Minister of Energy,
Andriy Yermak — head of the President’s Office,
Anatoliy Zahorodnii — President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine,
Oleg Ivashchenko — head of the Foreign Intelligence Service,
Ihor Klymenko — Minister of Internal Affairs,
Ruslan Kravchenko — Prosecutor General,
Viktor Lyashko — Minister of Health,
Vasyl Malyuk – head of the Security Service of Ukraine,
Serhii Marchenko — Minister of Finance,
Andriy Pishnyi — Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine (member by consent),
Philip Pronin — head of the State Financial Monitoring Service,
Yulia Svyridenko — Prime Minister of Ukraine,
Andrii Sybiga — Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Oleksandr Syrsky — Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
Oleksiy Sobolev — Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture,
Ruslan Stefanchuk — Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (member by consent),
Mykhailo Fedorov — First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Digital Transformation,
Denys Shmyhal is the Minister of Defense.
This composition of the NSDC combines the heads of the highest branches of government, representatives of the power structures, the economic bloc, the scientific community, and the heads of key ministries.
