Launch of the “School Offline” hotline: an innovation from the Ministry of Education and Culture

In the context of modern challenges related to military aggression and the pandemic, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MES) decided to take new steps to ensure a stable and high-quality educational process. One of them was the opening of the “School Offline” hotline, which is aimed at supporting the transition of students to full-time education. This project is noted for its relevance and necessity, because it provides important informational support for all participants of the educational process.
The main tasks of the “School Offline” hotline
The “Offline School” hotline was created to provide information and advice on educational policy issues, in particular regarding the return to face-to-face education. It will become an important resource for parents, students, teachers, educational managers, representatives of local governments and public organizations. Thanks to the hotline, you can get answers to questions about:
- Different forms of education in the new academic year, including face-to-face, mixed and distance forms.
- Peculiarities of education for migrant children, who were forced to leave their homes due to Russia’s military aggression.
- Organization of the educational process for students who are currently abroad, which is relevant for many Ukrainian families.
- Works of distance schools, which have become an integral part of the educational system during the pandemic.
- Training in the temporarily occupied territories, where special conditions are maintained to ensure access to education.
- Opportunities for teachers of distance schools, which helps teachers adapt to new challenges.
