More than half of Poles believe that the president of Ukraine has a negative attitude towards Poland
More than half of Polish citizens believe that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is negative about their country. Such data was shown by a new study by United Surveys, reports Polsat News.
The survey participants were asked to determine how they see the current attitude of the Ukrainian president towards Poland. 58.3% of those surveyed called it negative. At the same time, 30.1% of respondents believe that Zelensky has a positive attitude towards Poland, and 11.6% could not give an unambiguous answer.
“What do you think is Volodymyr Zelensky’s attitude towards Poland?” – respondents were asked. Among those who perceive Zelensky’s attitude as negative, 33.7% chose the answer “rather negative”, another 24.6% – “categorically negative”. Together, this amounts to 58.3% of the survey participants.
The Ukrainian president’s attitude towards Poland is considered positive by 30.1% of respondents. In particular, 27.4% called it “rather positive”, and 2.7% – “unequivocally positive”.
The United Surveys poll commissioned by Wirtualna Polska was conducted on June 12–14, 2026, even before the decision to strip Volodymyr Zelensky of the highest Polish award. 1,000 people from different regions of Poland took part in the survey.
