Russia shelled the Kupyanskyi district with Grad missiles and kamikaze drones

On Saturday, July 5, the Russian army carried out a series of combined attacks on Kupyansk and nearby settlements in the Kharkiv region. As reported The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Russians used artillery, Grad rocket systems, FPV attack drones and kamikaze drones. As a result of one of the blows, a 66-year-old local resident was injured – he is being treated.

The village of Prykolotne was hit, where airstrikes damaged warehouse buildings of a private enterprise and residential buildings. During the day, Kupyansk itself came under fire. One of the FPV drones hit an ambulance, another shelling at about 1:30 p.m. by rocket artillery destroyed at least five residential buildings.

At the same time, an unmanned aerial vehicle, probably of the “Molniya” type, attacked the village of Maly Burluk, hitting an outbuilding. Closer to 19:00, Prikolotne was again attacked, this time by an FPV drone, which resulted in the injury of a 66-year-old man.

For all episodes of shelling, the Kupyan District Prosecutor’s Office has started pre-trial investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the laws and customs of war.
