The combat unit of the 47th brigade “Magura” resigned, criticizing the command for “senselessness” and unjustified losses of people

Oleksandr Shirshin, who held the position of battalion commander in the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the Magura Armed Forces, announced his resignation. In his Facebook post, he reported, who wrote the corresponding report and explained his decision with sharp criticism of the brigade leadership.
According to Shirshin, the command gives illogical orders, which leads to unsuccessful results in the Kursk direction and losses among personnel. He characterized the management’s actions as “senseless” and noted that reprimands, official investigations and disciplinary sanctions have become the main mechanism of management.
“I have not received weaker tasks than in the current direction. Someday I will tell you the details, but the staggering loss of people, trembling in front of the clueless generals does not lead to anything except failures. All that is capable of – reprimands, investigations, imposition of penalties.
…”Political” games and assessment of the real state of affairs do not correspond to either reality or possibilities. Played
The corresponding report has been written, I hope I will be removed in the near future, so I will soon be ready to tell some moments to my journalist friends”, – wrote Shirshin.
It will be recalled that the “Magura” brigade will carry out combat missions in the Kursk direction from the fall of 2024.
As of the morning of May 18, the command refused to comment on Shirshin’s statement.
