The Ministry of Defense has codified the R-34-T UAV, which is capable of laser targeting

The Ukrainian R-34-T unmanned aerial vehicle, equipped with a laser targeting function, has been officially codified and put into operation in units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The development was created by order of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, successfully passed a full cycle of tests and is ready for combat missions. The main purpose of the drone is to provide laser illumination of targets for precise hitting by guided munitions, including artillery and aviation means.

Thanks to the use of laser targeting, the R-34-T significantly increases the effectiveness of using high-precision weapons, in particular at long distances and in conditions of active enemy air defense.

The drone is also equipped with secure communication channels, modular design and anti-electronic warfare systems. Its use makes it possible to optimize the consumption of ammunition, more efficiently use resources and reduce risks for personnel and units on the front lines.

As a reminder, on March 4, the Ministry of Defense officially codified and approved for use in the units of the Armed Forces the NORD unmanned aerial systems produced in Ukraine. NORD drones are characterized by compactness and high maneuverability. They are equipped with an advanced control system that guarantees stable communication between the operator and the device even in the presence of enemy electronic warfare.
