Zelenskyi explained the new appointments and dismissals in the Cabinet of Ministers and OP
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi during his evening address reported on the preparation of a number of personnel changes in the Cabinet of Ministers and the Office of the President. This decision is aimed at setting up state institutions so that Ukraine can achieve all the set goals.
According to the president, autumn will be a decisive period for Ukraine, which requires strengthening of certain directions in the government. Zelenskyi emphasized the importance of changes in the President’s Office for effective management of the country.
“I expect the increased importance of certain areas of foreign and domestic policy. First of all, closer interaction between the central government and communities is needed, especially during the preparation for the winter season”, — noted Zelensky.
The president also emphasized Ukraine’s successes in defense production, pointing out that this sector needs further development.
Among the key areas of work, the president singled out the strengthening of cooperation with NATO, which will require special cooperation, as well as preparation for real negotiations with the European Union regarding Ukraine’s membership. Zelenskyi added that personal responsibility will be imposed for this process.
In addition, the president noted the importance of consolidating Ukraine’s achievements in international relations, including the fight against Russian propaganda and the protection of cultural heritage.
“We need a new level of informational, cultural and diplomatic work, as well as strengthening relations with the global Ukrainian community”, — concluded the president, expressing gratitude to those who will join these changes.
