The Russian army massively attacked the Kyiv region with missiles and drones: there are dead and wounded

On the night of June 23, Kyiv Region was attacked by drones and ballistic missiles. It is currently known that as a result of a combined Russian strike in Kyiv, 5 people were killed and 19 others were injured. The exact number of victims is being clarified, informs DSNS press office.

Rescue services work in several areas of the capital. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, as a result of the impact, the ceiling of the fourth and fifth floors of a five-story building was damaged, and the roof was partially destroyed. There was a car fire in the yard. Evacuation of residents is carried out using a truck ladder and a three-legged ladder. Seven people were rescued, including a pregnant woman.

In the Solomyansk district, a fire on the roof of a business center has been extinguished at one address, and a fire is being extinguished in a four-story office building at another, with an area of ​​800 square meters.

Fires were recorded in an open area due to the fall of drone fragments, several non-residential buildings were damaged. The most serious consequences were in the Shevchenkiv district: the entrance of an apartment building was completely destroyed.

“Currently, 5 people have died in a house in the Shevchenkiv district as a result of an enemy attack on the capital. There are a total of 19 victims in the city. 8 of them are in hospital in the city hospitals. Rescuers are working in the damaged house, doctors are on duty.” Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko clarified.

In the Kyiv region, the Belotserkivskyi and Buchanskyi districts experienced the greatest destruction. Residential buildings and medical facilities were damaged in Bila Tserkva. One person died, eight others were injured. During the liquidation of the consequences of the impact, two employees of the State Emergency Service were injured. Emergency services are working on the ground from the first minutes. Rescue teams have been deployed, engineering equipment has been involved, climbers are working.
