Zelenskyy announces increase in arms supplies from partners, including artillery

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Bargylevych and Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov. The meeting was focused on the situation at the frontline, in particular, the Pokrovske, Toretske, Kurakhove and Kupianske directions were discussed.

A separate report was presented on operations in the Kursk region and the destruction of Russian forces in certain areas near the state border of Ukraine. The information was published on the President’s official Telegram channel.

There are important developments in the supply of supplies from partners to the frontline – we are recording an increase in supplies under support packages. The results in the supply of artillery have become better. The Minister of Defence reported on the supply of Ukrainian-made drones for the Defence Forces. The approved supply plans are being implemented, and I am grateful to all manufacturers for this. I have instructed the Minister of Defence to further increase the order of Ukrainian drones for our respective operations,’ Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.

Earlier, the head of state said that the volume of arms supplies promised by partners was insufficient. Zelenskyy stressed that weapons are needed not only to perform current tasks, but also to form reserves.
