Germany provides Ukraine with 3.85 billion euros in military aid

In the first quarter of 2024, Germany issued arms export permits for a total amount of about 5.2 billion euros, of which 3.85 billion (74%) are intended for Ukraine.

This was reported by Ministry of finance of the Federal Republic of Germany.

This shows Germany’s unwavering support for Ukraine in its fight against unprovoked and illegal aggression by Russia“, stated the German State Secretary Sven Hygold.

According to him, the funds will be used for the purchase of various weapons necessary for the protection of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“Ukraine remains our key partner in this situation, and we will continue to resolutely support its defense capabilities“, Hygold stressed.

This is another aid package that Germany has provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
