On the night of February 26, Kharkiv was attacked by Russian drones, as a result of which hits were recorded in two districts of the city. As a result, residential buildings and a restaurant building were damaged, and there were casualties. About this informs Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Around midnight, Russian drones struck the city: two in Kyiv district, one in Shevchenkivskyi. According to preliminary information, the enemy used “Hieran” strike drones. In the Kyiv district, the UAV hit the second floor of a nine-story residential building.
“Two people went to the doctors because of an acute stress reaction. Two more victims, who had to be carried out on a stretcher, are being examined by doctors and are being given the necessary assistance.”, the message says.
These are elderly people, their condition is being clarified. Another hit was recorded in the Kyiv district near a restaurant building that was damaged. The third blow in the Shevchenkiv district fell on the road surface on one of the city’s central streets. As a result of the explosion, the facade and windows of a seven-story residential building were damaged – dozens of windows were broken.
In the State Service for Emergency Situations (DSNS) clarified, that as a result of a drone hitting a nine-story building in the Kyiv district, a fire broke out on the second floor – the fire covered 50 square meters. Rescuers, together with police officers, medics and volunteers, evacuated five residents. According to preliminary information, two people were injured.
