The girlfriend of Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Verbytskyi, who has officially earned 0 hryvnias over the past three years, bought herself a three-story cottage and a luxury car with a total cost of almost 52 million hryvnias. Khrystyna Ilnytska denies the official’s involvement in her substantial expenses. According to the girl, she bought the estate and the car with money received from previous partners, including an inheritance from one of them. However, there is evidence that Mrs. Khrystyna did not receive any inheritance.
Information about the huge fortune of Verbytskyi’s girlfriend became known thanks to the journalistic investigation of the “Schemes” program. It all started with the suspicious fact of the removal of the seizure from the assets of the Konyk cottage town developer company, the house in which the nephew of the deputy prosecutor general bought. Later, Dmytro Verbytsky himself settled in that house.
The investigation against the developer was conducted by the SBI. In recent months, no new materials have appeared in the case. During the journalistic investigation, it turned out that the house in the cottage town was also bought by the official’s girlfriend. It is interesting that both cottages were officially purchased for a sum of money that is many times lower than the market value.
It turned out that Khrystyna Ilnytska became the owner of real estate on the eve of her birthday. The girl also bought a Porsche Macan T 2023 car, the value of which is estimated at 100 thousand dollars, or 4 million hryvnias. The market value of the three-story cottage that Ilnytska bought is 1.2 million dollars, or 48 million hryvnias. In the contract of sale, the price is 24 times lower.
The fact that Khrystyna Ilnytska is meeting with the deputy prosecutor general is evidenced by joint photos on social networks and public appearances together. The persons involved in the investigation also do not deny that they have a relationship. However, Verbytsky denies his involvement in the purchase of the estate and the car.
“I have known Khrystyna since the end of 2022, our relationship is not a family relationship, and I did not participate in any help in her acquisition of property. Therefore, you need to contact Khrystyna about these issues. As for the car, I do not use it in the sense of the law “On Prevention of Corruption”, but only sat behind the wheel several times together with the owner”, – Verbytskyi said in a comment for journalists.
“I have known Dmitry since around the end of 2022, and the relationship was friendly. As for our relationship today, it is personal, I am not ready to comment on it. At this stage, the relationship does not have a family character. As for the purchase of a house, cars and other real estate , which I bought and will buy in the near future, I live in a house with my son and my mother. he left me a will, as well as jewelry, cars, a yacht named after me, a watch, etc. So I have enough money to buy a house and more.” – said Khrystyna.
The widow of Khrystyna’s ex-lover, businessman Yury Priymak, told reporters that the man mentioned the girl in his will, but later changed its text, leaving nothing to Khrystyna.
