Ukrainians received over ₴37 million under the National Cashback programme

The Ukrainian state has started payments under the “National Cashback” program, providing 646,378 citizens with UAH 37.2 million for purchases of Ukrainian goods in September. About this reported Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko noted that almost 650,000 Ukrainians have benefited from financial support, in particular 10% of them are people aged 60+ who will be able to use these payments to pay for utilities.

97 people received the highest amounts of cashback: 77 Ukrainians received more than UAH 1,000, 15 people received more than UAH 2,000, and five citizens were rewarded with maximum payments of UAH 3,000. According to the ministry, Ukrainians most actively made purchases with cashback in large chains such as “ATB”, “Silpo”, “Fora”, “Aurora”, Novus, Varus, “Welmart” and “TRASH!”.

As of October 28, 2.4 million Ukrainians joined the program and issued 2.6 million cards, of which more than 1.5 million activated their cards in the Diya application to receive payments.

The ministry also reported that the total amount of accrued cashback for October already amounts to UAH 104.6 million, which is almost three times higher than the September accruals.

The program provides for the accrual of cashback in the amount of 10% for the purchase of goods of Ukrainian manufacturers included in the program, with a maximum payout limit of up to UAH 3,000 per month.
