In Boryspil, two Cane Corso dogs bit a 79-year-old woman to death
In Boryspil, Kyiv region, two Cane Corso dogs fatally injured a 79-year-old woman. The owner of the animals was detained, and the dogs were seized and sent to a dog training center.
According to the data of the prosecutor’s office, the incident occurred on June 19 at around 3:40 p.m. Two dogs ran out of private territory through a loosely closed gate, after which they ran into a neighboring yard.
There, the animals attacked a 79-year-old woman. As a result of the attack, the victim received serious injuries. She was hospitalized, but the woman could not be saved.
Law enforcement officers detained the owner of the dogs. The animals were seized and transferred to a dog training center.
Investigators are conducting a pre-trial investigation and establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy, including the conditions in which the dogs were kept and the reasons why they were able to leave the private territory.
