In Ukraine, an interactive simulator was developed for proper communication with veterans
This tool was developed as an appendix to the educational series "People with war experience. Dignity. Interaction".

In Ukraine, they developed an interactive simulator aimed at developing the skills of correct communication with veterans. This is stated in messages in the Telegram channel of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
The simulator immerses users in situations as close as possible to real ones, which helps to put the acquired knowledge into practice. In simulated situations, the user may find himself in a conversation with a fellow veteran who jokes about death, trauma, and war. There are several reaction options to choose from, which are accompanied by expert explanations.
The tool was developed as a supplement to the educational series “People with experience of war. Dignity. Interaction”. He talks about the rules of correct communication with military men and women veterans, emphasizing the importance of respect and understanding in such conversations.
The interactive simulator is available for link, and its developers encourage all interested parties to familiarize themselves with it and use it in everyday life to improve communication with veterans. This tool will be useful not only for civilians, but also for social workers, health professionals, educators and anyone who comes into contact with veterans.
The goal of this project is to reduce communication barriers and promote the successful reintegration of veterans into society. Training through the simulator will help you understand how to properly respond to difficult situations and support those who have gone through combat, while maintaining their dignity and respect.
