Monobank launches “Terminal in Smartphone” service for iPhone

From now on, business users of monobank have the opportunity to accept contactless payments on the iPhone without the need to use a separate payment terminal. The “Terminal in a smartphone” service, which previously functioned only on Android devices, has become available for iOS as well. About this reported co-founder of the bank Oleg Horohovskyi.
According to him, the new solution allows entrepreneurs to significantly save money, as it does not require renting or purchasing additional equipment. All you need to use is a smartphone.
“During testing, I installed a terminal on my wife’s iPhone, and now every morning she charges me money for breakfast. I want to file a complaint against her with the AMCU for using a monopoly position and illegal enrichment.” Horokhovsky joked.
The “Terminal in smartphone” service is part of monobank’s acquiring infrastructure and enables businesses to accept contactless payments with bank cards, smartphones or smartwatches directly through their phone.
At the same time, monobank offered companies to return 1% of the amount of all payments to employees, including wages, sick leave and scholarships.
“We pay 1% cashback to the company from the amount of wages that they paid to their employees on our cards. No one has ever done this, never anywhere. Attention managers of budget funds at all levels! Save the state money — don’t pay salaries the old way.” Horokhovsky explained.
