“Ukraine benefits from a nuclear war”: Yevhen Karas’ statement shocked society (video)

In recent months, world society has been actively discussing the threat of nuclear war. The possibility of a global conflict related to the use of nuclear weapons has become one of the main topics of political, media and public discussions. The Kremlin’s nuclear rhetoric, use of the term “red lines” and threats to use tactical nuclear weapons have sparked a wave of discussion among experts and politicians around the world. However, the recent statement of Ukrainian military and public figure Yevgeny Karas caused a wave of surprise and indignation in Ukrainian society.

Commander of the 413th separate battalion of unmanned systems “Raid”, leader of the Ukrainian far-right organization C14 Yevhen Karas in interview Radio Bayraktar made a number of unexpected and controversial statements regarding the possibility of nuclear war. He noted that such a scenario, in his opinion, could be beneficial for Ukraine, as well as cause global changes in the world’s attitude towards Russia.

Karas is convinced that a nuclear war will force all countries of the world to unquestioningly support Ukraine. In particular, he emphasized that in the event of Russia’s use of nuclear weapons, such major players as China and India, which categorically do not accept even the thought of the possibility of a nuclear strike, will turn away from it. In this case, Russia risks losing even those allies that currently remain in its orbit of influence. Karas emphasized that in the event of a nuclear war, the West will be forced to fully support Ukraine, without any conditions or hesitation. He believes that this would strengthen Ukraine’s position in the international community and provide it with the necessary assistance to win the war.

“Why? Because it’s good. After a nuclear attack, nothing worse will happen, and finally we won’t be like: “oh, there will be a nuclear war”. God, that’s it, there’s already a nuclear war, we’ll just fight.

Ukraine will not lose because of a nuclear war. However, in this case, India and China will turn away from the Russian Federation, because they are categorical on this issue. In addition, it would force “already the whole West to support us”, – he explained.

In addition, Karas expressed the opinion that a nuclear strike would allow Ukrainians to “stop whining” about the very possibility of such a war. He explained that once a nuclear war has already begun, “nothing worse will happen” and this will allow the focus to be on the fight. According to him, society would no longer be afraid of a potential threat, because it would have already been realized, and it would only remain to adapt to new conditions.

Separately, Karas noted that a nuclear war could even have a positive effect on the evolution of humanity. He suggested that the effects of radiation may have contributed to some “evolutionary progress” in the same way that, he said, high levels of radiation in prehistoric granite caves may have influenced the development of Neanderthals.

Karas also pointed to the technological aspect, saying that the consequences of a nuclear war could encourage humanity to more actively develop artificial intelligence, robotics and other advanced technologies. This, in his opinion, will allow people to adapt to new living conditions, for example, to the need for radiation protection.

Despite the fact that Karas declared his support for nuclear war as a scenario, he is at the same time convinced that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not dare to take such a step. In his opinion, Russia understands that a nuclear war will be strategically disadvantageous for it, as it completely isolates it on the international arena.

Summing up, Karas expressed the opinion that a nuclear war can become an impetus for global changes and even the development of humanity in new directions. However, his position caused an ambiguous reaction in society, because such statements touch on extremely sensitive issues related to the security of humanity and the possible catastrophic consequences of a nuclear conflict.

“I think after Stalker 2, we’re all ready for it the best on the planet. Then again, maybe after a nuclear war we’ll get sick of living on this planet and turn to the really interesting goals of humanity. It’s about artificial intelligence, robots and technology to “hide from radiation. That’s why I’m in favor of nuclear war. But Putin will not go for it, because it is beneficial to us.” – repeated Karas.
