Zelenskyy proposed to send university teachers to the front

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, proposed to send all teachers of military lyceums and universities to the front. That’s what he’s about stated during a meeting with cadets and lyceum students of military educational institutions on the Day of Remembrance of Heroes of Krut.

During the speech, the president addressed the teachers of military lyceums, higher educational institutions and administrative management.

“All our boys and girls who are training to be officers must know what is happening at the front, what is modern warfare. And therefore, it is you who are training them, you must have relevant experience, you must be at the front, because that is the only way to teach someone with a real understanding of what war is like on the ground, not only in books. Although books are also important, knowing what the front is like is to ensure results for Ukraine in modern war.”– noted Zelensky.

The President also emphasized that Ukraine needs officers not only with high reliability, but also with a modern vision of the army and military service.

“Under any circumstances, the security of Ukraine will always – and in peacetime – depend on the strength of Ukraine. Our state will always need an effective army. This is your task, dear high school students, dear cadets.” — emphasized Zelensky.
