Despite the war, Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and social benefits. The publication NV reported the amounts of minimum and maximum pensions for September.
As of January 1, 2024, certain pensions have been increased in Ukraine due to the revision of the subsistence minimum for various categories of the population. According to the state budget, the living wage in 2024 will be UAH 2,920, and for disabled persons — UAH 2,361.
Thus, the minimum pension increased from UAH 2,093 to UAH 2,361 (+ UAH 268), and the maximum pension increased from UAH 20,930 to UAH 23,610 (+ UAH 2,680).
So, in September 2024, the minimum pension will be UAH 2,361, and the maximum – UAH 23,610.
The maximum amount of pension in Ukraine is limited and cannot exceed ten subsistence minimums for disabled persons, as stipulated by the Law of Ukraine on mandatory state pension insurance.
According to the legislation, the amount of UAH 23,610 is the maximum pension, taking into account all possible allowances, additional payments and increases (except for additional payments for persons who have special services to the Motherland). This is the maximum amount of the pension in September 2024.
In 2024, civil servants, local self-government workers, people’s deputies and scientists will be able to receive the maximum pension.
