Федеральний уряд Німеччини повідомив, що найбільше нелегальних спроб в’їзду до країни у другій половині 2024 року здійснювали громадяни Сирії та України. Про це пише Deutsche Presse-Agentur з посиланням на відповідь на парламентський запит «Лівої партії», цитовану сервісом MSN. Згідно з офіційними даними, 20,6% осіб, які намагалися потрапити до Німеччини без дозволу, походили з Сирії, а майже стільки ж – з України. Тобто, майже кожен п’ятий, хто намагався нелегально виїхати до Німеччини в другій половині 2024 року, був громадянином України. При цьому українцям не потрібно подавати клопотання про притулок для отримання захисту в Німеччині чи іншій країні ЄС. Однак це не гарантує автоматичного права на проживання. Українці, які тривалий час проживають за межами країни та не підпадають під безпосередню загрозу війни, не мають права на тимчасовий захист. Таким людям необхідно оформлювати візу для довготривалого перебування. Попри це, загальна кількість незаконних в’їздів до Німеччини знизилася з 127 549 у 2023 році до 83 572 у 2024 році. Також зменшилася частка осіб, які після нелегального в’їзду подали заяву на притулок, – їх було зареєстровано приблизно 23%. Серед тих, кому відмовлено у в’їзді, є особи, які не подали клопотання про притулок або мали заборону на в’їзд. Нагадаємо, на тлі зростання нелегальної міграції уряд Німеччини запровадив контроль на всіх сухопутних кордонах із 16 вересня 2024 року.
