The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine launches a new “Payment Hub” to simplify payment for services

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has launched a single online system, the Payment Hub, which should make payment for services at the MIA service centers faster and more convenient. The system has successfully passed testing and is already working to pay for vehicle registrations.

The Payment Hub centrally accepts payments for administrative services, fines, and mandatory state fees. It can also be used to make payments related to the payment of certain taxes or fees required to receive MIA services.

“Currently, the online payment system works to pay for vehicle registrations. We plan to expand it to all service center services”, the MIA said in a statement.

To pay, the administrator generates a single payment document with the necessary data. After that, the user just needs to scan the QR code and confirm the payment in the bank application. At the same time, an alternative option to pay for the service at any banking institution remains available.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that the “Payment Hub” automatically calculates the amounts of fees and taxes, which reduces the risk of errors and inaccuracies. During the purchase and sale of a vehicle, the system also distributes payments between the seller and the buyer, making the procedure more transparent for both parties.

In the future, the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to extend the work of the “Payment Hub” to all services of service centers.
