A new ranking of the quality of life in the world was published: what place did Ukraine take
Ukraine took 66th place out of 83 countries in the quality of life rating published by the international Numbeo project. This study provides a global overview of the level of well-being and comfort of life in different countries of the world every year. By data of this rating, the top 10 included mainly European countries and one Arab state.
The leader of the rating was Luxembourg, which received the highest marks for such key indicators as purchasing power, safety and quality of medical services.
The top ten also included:
- The Netherlands, distinguished by a stable economy and a high standard of living;
- Denmark, known for its developed system of social protection and high level of security;
- Oman, which showed high results in terms of security and purchasing power;
- Switzerland, which is famous for its stability and first-class health care;
- Finland, marked by strong social protection and high quality of life;
- Iceland, which is characterized by a stable economy and reliable social support;
- Austria, which attracts with its security, stability and quality medical services;
- Norway, known for its high standard of living and social protection;
- Sweden, which has a stable economy and high living standards.

Ukraine, being in the 66th position, showed a quality of life index of 110.7 points. Although this indicator still lags behind European standards, experts note the potential for further development and improvement of living conditions in the country.
At the opposite end of the ranking is Nigeria, which ranked last with an index of 42.7 points, indicating serious socio-economic problems.
The Numbeo ranking is an important tool for analyzing global trends in quality of life and can help governments formulate strategies to improve the well-being of their citizens.
