The State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” conducted monitoring of forestry activities. As a result of the inspection, hundreds of violations and abuses were found. Currently, more than 250 criminal proceedings have been opened.
“The law enforcement agencies are investigating a record number of cases initiated by the enterprise. Almost every suspicion, high-profile detention of forestry workers is based on checks carried out by the internal security of the State Enterprise “Lisa Ukrainy”, – says the message state enterprise.
In total, the security department of the SE “Forests of Ukraine” handed over 528 reports of possible criminal offenses to law enforcement agencies. These data contributed to the opening of 254 criminal proceedings.
Employees of the enterprise contribute to the investigation of cases. In 125 cases, the National Police, the State Criminal Investigation Department, and the Prosecutor’s Office permanently engaged the security personnel of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” to conduct investigative actions.
The state enterprise promises to inform the public about the results of the investigations. The first detentions have already been reported in Transcarpathia.
