Army+ launched a training course on financial literacy
A new training course on financial literacy for the military has appeared in the “Army+” application. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The course is a practical guide to managing personal finances during military service. It teaches you how to budget, save, invest, and understand taxes and insurance. The training program is specially adapted to the needs of military personnel, taking into account the peculiarities of income, benefits, risks and real life circumstances.
“We continue to expand the range of courses that relate not only to combat work, but also to other useful topics. We recently launched training on the history of Ukraine and the DOT-Chain system, and now – on financial literacy, the skills of which are very relevant today. We continue to turn “Army+” into an ecosystem that is ready to respond to any request of the military.” – emphasized Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization.
The course contains 20 lessons, after each module there is a test to check knowledge. After passing all the modules, you need to pass the final exam, based on the results of which the military can receive an electronic certificate.
Today, “Army+” offers ten educational courses. 70,800 military personnel are undergoing training, of which 28,500 have completed at least one course in full. The most popular courses are “Unmanned systems. UAV basics” and “Information stability. Cyber security”.
The new course was developed within the framework of the initiative with the support of the Public Union “Fund for the Support of Reforms of Ukraine” and is part of the support program from the Special Adviser on Defense Issues, funded by the Government of Great Britain.
