Artificial intelligence is gradually moving from a trendy trend to a mandatory tool for doing business. A survey of over 200 Ukrainian companies, conducted by the Ministry of Digital Affairs together with Top Lead, showed that 93% of respondents are already using AI in one way or another in their work.
Companies in the fields of trade, marketing and PR, finance, education and services are showing the greatest interest in implementing the technology, which indicates that AI is becoming established in key sectors of the economy.
The most popular area of application of artificial intelligence remains data analysis, market and forecasting. AI is also actively used in marketing and sales – in this direction, about 64% of surveyed businesses use the technology. At the same time, security and cybersecurity issues remain on the periphery: only 18.4% of companies use AI to solve such tasks.
More than 60% of businesses already note the real positive impact of artificial intelligence on productivity and financial indicators. This indicates a gradual transition from testing the technology to obtaining measurable business benefits. The main reason for implementing AI is cited by companies as the automation of routine and operational processes, which confirms that currently the technology is more often used for optimization, rather than for deep transformation of business models.
At the same time, the value of specialists with the appropriate skills is also growing. In 2025, the average salary of specialists who master artificial intelligence tools increased by almost 40%. The highest incomes are traditionally received by IT workers, but AI competencies are rapidly gaining importance in finance, marketing and management, where they allow to increase the level of wages by more than 35%.
