На платформі Polymarket, відомій своїми несподіваними, але точними прогнозами, з’явилася нова можливість: зробити ставку на ймовірність ядерного удару до кінця 2024 року. Це викликало хвилю обговорень, адже раніше ця платформа зуміла передбачити перемогу Дональда Трампа на виборах Президента США. Тоталізатор доступний на сайті компанії, там питання звучить так: “Чи вибухне ядерна зброя у 2024 році?”. Умовою виграшу є здійснення однієї з таких подій: – цілеспрямований ядерний удар (тип ядерної зброї не має значення); – ядерне випробування (тип ядерної зброї не має значення); – випадковий ядерний вибух. Ставка досить проста: якщо ядерна зброя буде застосована в будь-якій точці світу в період із 1 липня по 31 грудня 2024 року, то учасники, які поставили на “так”, виграють. Натомість несправжнє застосування ядерної зброї, запуск без детонації або вибухи “брудної бомби” до уваги не беруться. Перші прогнози учасників були досить стриманими, і більшість вважала, що ймовірність ядерного удару низька. Проте після затвердження Володимиром Путіним нової ядерної доктрини настрої змінилися: кількість ставок на “так” почала зростати. Станом на вечір 20 листопада обсяг ставок на платформі Polymarket досяг 1,8 мільйона доларів, при цьому лише 9% учасників вважають, що одна зі світових держав може завдати ядерного удару до кінця 2024 року. Решта залишаються оптимістами, впевненими в тому, що сценарій ядерного конфлікту вдасться уникнути. Скріншот: polymarket.com Polymarket уже не вперше привертає увагу своїми провокативними прогнозами. Нинішній інтерес до ставки про ядерний удар відображає глобальну тривогу в умовах зростання напруги між великими державами. Залишається сподіватися, що подібні прогнози будуть лише теоретичною грою, і світ уникне реальних катастрофічних сценаріїв.
