Bulgaria won Eurovision, Ukraine took ninth place
Bulgaria won this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, with Ukrainian representative Leléka coming in ninth place. This was announced during the broadcast of the contest.
Bulgarian singer DARA with the song Bangaranga scored a total of 516 points. Israeli representative Noam Bettan with the song Michelle came in second place. Third place went to Romanian singer Alexandra Capitanescu with the song Choke Me.
Ukrainian Leléka performed the song Ridnym at number 7. After the performance, she shouted from the stage “Glory to Ukraine!” and made a trident gesture. In total, the Ukrainian representative received 221 points: 54 from the jury and 167 from the audience.

Vienna hosted Eurovision in 2026. This was the city’s fourth time hosting the contest in history. Representatives from 35 countries competed for participation in the final.
This year, Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and Iceland left the show – in protest against Israel’s participation. At the same time, Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova returned to the competition after a break: after three, two and one year, respectively.
