The new tool allows you to automate the search and analysis of information. Just specify a topic and ChatGPT will find, process and synthesize data from hundreds of online sources, creating a detailed report at the level of a research analyst.
The research process takes from 5 to 30 minutes. Upon completion, the agent provides a list of sources used and a summary of the results obtained. Users can make changes to the study, including by uploading their own files.
The Deep Research function is designed for situations where you need not just a quick response, but a detailed analysis of information from various web resources and sources.
OpenAI notes that the new tool is in the early stages of development and has some limitations. AI Agent is currently only available to paid users. ChatGPT Pro subscribers can send up to 100 requests per month, while Plus/Team users have limited access.
