After four months of closed testing by Google added the Veo 2 video generative model in the Gemini chatbot for users with an Advanced subscription. The new version of the model is capable of creating videos of up to eight seconds in 720p resolution.
Ready-made videos generated with Veo 2 can be instantly published on TikTok or YouTube thanks to the built-in sharing function. Currently, the model supports only 16:9 aspect ratio, and videos are automatically saved in MP4 format.
According to Google representatives, compared to the previous version, the updated model better understands the physical properties of the environment and human movements. After full launch, the ability to create videos will be available in all languages.
Gemini Advanced is available as part of the Google One AI Premium subscription, which costs UAH 909 per month. Another way to access Veo 2 is to use the Whisk Animate tool, which allows you to turn images into short animations of up to eight seconds. Like the Veo 2, this feature is exclusively available to users with a Gemini Advanced subscription through the Google Labs platform.
