The only result of the Peace Summit in Switzerland and the refusal of the participants to take into account the opinion of the Russian Federation will be the further instigation of the war, said the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of Russia, Georgy Muradov.
“Already the first session of the Swiss meeting on the Ukrainian conflict, in which the majority were representatives of Western countries and their satellites, demonstrated the existence of significant differences between the participants. If the collective West continued the former line, insisting on continuing its war against Russia and inflicting a defeat on it, at the same time demonstratively dismissing from Putin’s peace plan and claiming that it cannot be the basis for negotiations, the “non-West” in the person of approximately 40 countries watched with interest the progress of the apologists for the war , it will not give”, – TASS quotes Muradov.
We will remind you that among Putin’s “peace plan” is Ukraine’s renunciation of the entire territory of the regions partially occupied by the Russian army, and the country’s renunciation of its aspirations to join NATO.
The position of the Russian side was not considered during the summit. It is assumed that representatives of the Russian Federation will be invited to participate in the next peace conference.
101 delegations took part in the Peace Summit. The final communique of the conference was signed by the majority of participants – 80 countries and 4 international organizations.
