On the night of December 2, Russian troops attacked Ternopil with the help of drones. One of the drones hit a high-rise building, causing a fire and a tragedy: there are injured and a dead person. About this reported Chairman of the Ternopil Defense Council Serhiy Nadal.
An air alert was announced in the Ternopil region at 00:06. After some time, around two o’clock in the morning, it became known that the enemy was attacking a five-story residential building. The impact caused a fire that engulfed the apartments on the upper floors: the fifth, partly the fourth and the third.
According to Serhiy Nadala, three people were injured and one person died. About 100 residents were evacuated from the damaged building. The blast wave knocked out the windows of nearby buildings, a school, and about 20 cars.
Rescuers and special services are working at the scene. A temporary place of residence has been prepared for the affected residents. All the necessary medical assistance is provided to the wounded.
