In the Siver region, the Defense Forces repelled 16 attacks by the Russian army: General Staff
During the day, 172 combat clashes were recorded at the front. The Ukrainian military confidently deters attempts by Russian forces to advance deep into our territory, inflicting significant losses on them. In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 16 attacks by the Russian army, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces repelled four assaults in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy carried out five airstrikes using 15 guided bombs, and also carried out 129 attacks, including four from rocket salvo systems.
On the Yuzhno-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried 19 times to break through the defenses in the areas of Vovchansky Khutori, Kamianka, Stroivka, and in the direction of Bolohivka, Kolodyazny, and Odradny. Currently, eight clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions near Kupyansk, Redkivka, and in the direction of Pishchany, Petropavlivka, and Bohuslavka. Ukrainian troops repelled five attacks, six more clashes are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked defenders’ positions in the Ridkodub, Myrny, Torsky, and Shandrygolovo areas five times, but was stopped. In the Seversky direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 16 attacks near Hryhorivka and in the direction of Dronivka and Yampol. One clash is still ongoing. One combat encounter was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction — the enemy tried to advance in the direction of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, there were 19 offensive attempts in the areas of Rusyny Yar, Katerynivka, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Poltavka. Ukrainian defenders stopped all attacks.
In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out 49 assaults in the areas of Nikanorivka, Mayak, Rodynsky, Krasnoy Liman, Raziny, Novoeconomichny, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovoy, Kotlyny, Udachny, Gorykhovy, Filia, and in the direction of Novopavlivka and Volodymyrivka. Currently, two clashes are still going on. According to preliminary data, 150 occupiers were liquidated here, 111 of them permanently. An artillery system, two cars and seven unmanned aerial vehicles were also destroyed, two guns, a tank, two more pieces of equipment, an air defense control center and 11 enemy shelters were damaged.
On the Novopavlivskyi direction, the aggressor tried 22 times to break through the defenses near Zeleny Gay, Yalta, Piddubny, Voskresenka, Sichnevy, Sosnivka, Vorony, and Novogrigorivka. Four clashes are still ongoing.
There were eight attacks in the Gulyaipil region near Poltavka, all of which were repulsed. In the Orihiv direction, Ukrainian forces repulsed four assaults near Stepovoy and Kamiansky. One unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to improve their positions was recorded in the Dnieper direction.
