The Middle East is once again in the center of global attention due to the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Lebanon, as well as constant attacks by the Hezbollah group. With each new report of missile attacks or airstrikes, the situation becomes increasingly tense. Foreign media are actively discussing possible scenarios of the development of events, expressing different points of view on what might happen if the conflict escalates into a full-scale war.
One of the key issues remains the possibility of a direct confrontation between Israel and Iran, which could have unpredictable consequences for the entire region and the world in general. The European press examines the prospects of this conflict from the point of view of security, economic consequences and threats to global stability. Journalists from various countries are drawing attention to the fact that if Israel decides to strike Iran’s nuclear program, it could lead to a chain reaction of unpredictable events around the world, including economic crises, migration waves and new armed conflicts.
The Guardian – Great Britain. Regarding the Middle East conflict, Europe does not show unity, London’s The Guardian notes:
