Kursk was subjected to a massive drone attack

On the night of April 15, Kursk suffered a large-scale drone attack. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the alleged downing of 109 drones over the Kursk region, and another six over the Voronezh, Moscow, Bryansk and Oryol regions. This is reported by rosZMI.

“As a result, they “knocked everything down” with the civilian infrastructure, saving the military. At the same time, there are results on the ground precisely in industrial zones, which indicates the accuracy of strikes where air defense did not reach. We are waiting for details from the defense forces.” – noted Petro Andryushchenko, former adviser to the mayor of Mariupol and head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation.

The local authorities and operational headquarters in the Kursk region reported a fire in several residential buildings, the death of an 85-year-old woman, several victims and the evacuation of residents. Serious destruction was recorded in a multi-story building on Zavodska Street — the eighth and ninth floors were engulfed in fire. The fire was contained, residents were evacuated to a temporary shelter.

It is also reported that three private residential buildings were damaged as a result of alleged drops from drones. According to available information, one of the blows hit the garage of the ambulance station — 11 cars were damaged. Similar cases also occurred on Orlovska Street, where five floors were damaged, and on Veszpremska Street, one floor was damaged. All residents were evacuated.

The head of the Kursk region Oleksandr Khinshtein reported three more deaths in the region:

“Today, with the help of drones, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked two more settlements in the Bielovsky district. In the village of Giri, a civilian car was hit on the highway. A man born in 1955 died. Another attack took place in the village of Zolotaryovka. As a result of a drone strike, a married couple died: a man born in 1956 and a woman born in 1958.”
