Macron announced a plan to monitor the truce in Ukraine
Ministers of foreign affairs of Ukraine’s partner countries will develop a plan to monitor compliance with the ceasefire regime. This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron. informs Sky News.
According to him, at the meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing”, it was decided to instruct the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare appropriate proposals for monitoring the cessation of hostilities. They must be presented within three weeks.
Macron also noted that France and Great Britain will send a military delegation to Ukraine to work together with the Ukrainian armed forces to help plan further actions. According to him, this will allow the coalition to move forward.
“The delegation will study what format is needed in terms of the number of soldiers and what equipment and supplies are needed to respond to future Russian aggression and deter any Russian aggression.
This will allow us to move into the planning phase to clarify the contribution of each country that is part of our coalition, to give Ukraine a clear idea of exactly what plan of action we want to implement.” – explained Macron.
We will remind that at the beginning of the week the USA held separate technical negotiations with Ukraine and Russia in Riyadh. They discussed the armistice between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
