French President Emmanuel Macron sharply reacted to the missile attack on Sumy, calling on the international community to take “decisive measures to force Russia to cease fire”.
“This morning, two Russian missiles hit the very center of the city of Sumy in Ukraine, resulting in numerous civilian casualties, including children again.” Macron emphasized.
He emphasized that everyone knows: only Russia wanted this war, and now it is deliberately continuing it.
“Contrary to human life, international law, and President Trump’s diplomatic proposals. Decisive action is needed to force Russia to cease fire.”, – emphasized the French president.
Macron also noted that France continues to work tirelessly with its partners to achieve this goal.
“Our solidarity, our respect, our loyalty to the victims, the wounded, to all of Ukraine, which resists,” he added.
It will be recalled that on April 13, 34 people, including two children, were killed as a result of a rocket attack on the center of Sumy. Another 117 people were injured, including 11 children. All victims are provided with medical assistance.
