Negotiations to end the war between Russia and Ukraine will not be public: Rubio
The new US Secretary of State Marco Rubio statedthat the negotiations on the end of the war in Ukraine will not take place publicly. And the United States of America must play its role.
In his opinion, ending Russia’s war against Ukraine will become an important part of the official policy of the Donald Trump administration.
“The only way conflicts like this end is not through public statements. They end with tough, vigorous diplomacy, which the U.S. seeks to use in hopes of ending this conflict in a way that keeps Ukraine and our partners in the region safe, but stops the killing, death and destruction. which we have been observing for quite some time”, – noted Rubio.
He assured that he would continue Trump’s foreign policy aimed at protecting the country’s national interests. The Secretary of State also emphasized that one of the main goals of such a policy will be the achievement of peace based on the principle of “peace through strength” without compromising on fundamental values.
