“New mail” warned that messages sent by fraudsters allegedly on behalf of the company have nothing to do with it and are phishing emails. This was reported by the “New Post” press service.
It is noted that customers have started receiving SMS from unknown numbers with the text:
“Your parcel has been delayed due to an incorrect index”.
The message contains a dangerous link, ostensibly for address verification, but in fact it is intended to collect personal and banking data.
“Do not follow the link in the SMS and do not share personal data. Delete the message and warn loved ones, especially the elderly, who may not suspect the deception, the company stressed.
All official communication of “New Mail” conducted only through official channels: website, mobile application, social networks and SMS messages.
We remind you that at the beginning of August “ Ukrposhta” stressed: the only official website of the company is ukrposhta.ua. If messages from “strangers” numbers use the name “ Post of Ukraine” or the link contains extra dashes, dots or extra letters, this indicates fraud.
