NVIDIA’s revenue in Q2 2025 grew 56% year-over-year

The NVIDIA company in the second quarter of 2025 received $46.7 billion in revenue, which is 56% higher than in the same period last year. The main source of growth was the server business, informs TechCrunch.

Data centers provided the company with $41.1 billion in revenue, of which $27 billion came from chips on the new Blackwell architecture. NVIDIA’s net profit was $26.4 billion, which is 59% more than last year.

“Blackwell is the AI platform the world has been waiting for. The AI race is on, and Blackwell is the platform at the heart of it.” CEO Jensen Huang said.

According to him, the company expects investments in the amount of $3-4 trillion in the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure by 2030. In a comment to analysts, he noted that he considers this “a fairly reasonable amount for the next five years.” NVIDIA also noted its role in launching gpt-oss, an open-source OpenAI model capable of processing 1.5 million tokens per second on a single Blackwell GB200 NVL72 system.

In the financial report, the company also acknowledged difficulties in selling chips in China. NVIDIA said it did not supply H20 to Chinese customers, but received $650 million from buyers in other countries. Earlier this month, the company unveiled a new B30 AI accelerator and asked the US government to allow its sale in China.
