Participants of the charity event collected almost 3.6 million hryvnias in coins: NBU

As part of the charity event “#SuperCoins”, organized by the National Bank of Ukraine together with the Superhumans Center, it was possible to collect almost 3.6 million hryvnias in the form of coins. About this reported in the press office of the National Bank.

The main support of the action was provided by children and young people who actively participated in the collection of coins in educational institutions. More than 210,000 pupils, students and teachers from different regions of the country took part in the project.

“Incredible unity and willingness to help those in need have become an integral characteristic of modern Ukrainian society. We are proud to be able to participate in the formation of a culture of charity among children and youth, and we thank all partners and participants of this charity collection“, the Chairman of the National Bank Andriy Pishnyi noted.

According to the Superhumans Center, the funds raised will go towards surgical treatment: complex reconstructive operations on the face, neck and limbs for Ukrainians who have suffered severe injuries due to the war. The patients include both civilians and military personnel.

“More than 210,000 involved Ukrainians donated almost 3.6 million hryvnias – this is impressive! But there are also results that we will not be able to measure here and now – a change in the attitude towards people with disabilities in society.”, – emphasized the founder of Superhumans Center Andrii Stavnitser.
