NABU and SAPO reported the exposure of a current People’s Deputy of Ukraine in illegal enrichment in the amount of 13 million UAH. This was reported by NABU and SAPO. According to data from “Ukrainian Truth” sources in law enforcement agencies, this refers to the deputy from the OPZH Oleksandr Kachny.
“The investigation established that during 2020–2021, the suspect became the owner of assets totaling almost UAH 13 million, which significantly exceeded the level of his officially declared income.
With the indicated funds, the official purchased a cottage and a land plot on the Black Sea coast (village of Koblevo), and also bought an apartment in the center of Kyiv with an area of 132.6 sq. m,” – they report law enforcement officers.
The investigation also found that, despite the fictitious registration of property in the name of his acquaintance, the People’s Deputy had been living in an apartment in Kyiv since December 2021, personally supervised the repair work and paid for it in cash.
Law enforcement officers note that only the development of the design project and the repair cost more than 5.5 million UAH. The People’s Deputy was charged under Art. 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
