Poland wants access to secret applications of Ukraine’s ‘Victory Plan’

Warsaw wants to get access to the closed annexes to the “Victory Plan” of Ukraine, recently presented by President Volodymyr Zelensky. About this in interview Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski told the Polish News Agency (PAN).

Bartoshevsky recalled Zelenskyi’s words that the secret parts of this plan were shown only to those countries that provide assistance to Ukraine in the military sphere. This approach, according to the Polish diplomat, surprised him, since Poland was one of the first countries that provided significant military support to Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression.

He emphasized that Poland made a huge contribution to the defense of Ukraine, when, for example, Germany was just talking about sending helmets, Warsaw already provided 320 tanks, which were critically important at the beginning of the conflict. Bartoszewski believes that Poland has the right to access the non-public parts of the “Victory Plan” because its contribution to military support was significant, and Poland plays an important role in the process of rebuilding Ukraine after the war.

“We will talk about it, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland will definitely talk about it with the Ukrainian side, as we maintain constant contact”, he added, emphasizing the constant contact between the two states.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, publicly presented the “Victory Plan”, which consists of five key points. The first point is geopolitical, it involves the immediate invitation of Ukraine to NATO. The next two points concern military aspects, the fourth – economic, and the fifth – security. The first four stages are designed for the war period, and the fifth one concerns post-war reconstruction. According to Zelenskyi, the implementation of this plan will allow ending the war no later than 2025.
