On the night of October 30, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, launching missiles and attack drones. Explosions were heard in several regions. In Zaporizhia, 11 people were reported injured as a result of the enemy attack, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
On the night of October 30, Russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine, using aeroballistic missiles “Dagger”, ballistic missiles and missiles of the Kh-101 type. In addition, the invaders launched attack drones “Shahed”. During the massive attack, energy infrastructure facilities were shelled. In particular, there were reports of strikes on oil and gas facilities in the Poltava region and attempts to damage the Trypilska and Ladyzhynska TPPs.
Russian troops carried out a combined strike on Zaporizhia and surrounding areas. As a result of the shelling, infrastructure facilities, a dormitory and residential buildings were damaged. 11 people were injured, including six children aged 3 to 6, who are receiving medical care. The number of victims is being clarified.
A residential building was damaged at one of the addresses: the first to fourth floors were destroyed, after which the fifth collapsed. Rescuers are conducting search and rescue operations, in which a dog squad is involved. Pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service examined the area for explosive objects. A fire on the roof of a three-story residential building was also extinguished. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 15 people, including four children.
On the morning of October 30, explosions were heard in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. This was reported by the head of the OVA, Svitlana Onyshchuk. An air raid alert was issued in the region at 4:30 a.m., and from 4:44 a.m., local Telegram channels began reporting a series of explosions in various areas of the region. Svitlana Onyshchuk warned residents of the threat of kamikaze drone and missile attacks from the Russian Federation and urged them not to ignore air raid alerts.
An infrastructure facility was damaged during the nighttime Russian strikes in Chernihiv. This was reported by the head of the city military administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi.
A strike drone attack was recorded in Kyiv at night. According to the city authorities, air defense forces were actively working to destroy air targets. A 36-year-old woman was injured as a result of the Russian attack in the city of Boryspil. She received thermal burns to her face and hands, as well as cuts to her forearm and lower leg. The victim was hospitalized in a local hospital, where she is being provided with all necessary medical care.
Monitoring channels also reported explosions in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions. The details of the attack are currently being clarified.
