Russian UAVs hit Kyiv and the region, there are casualties
The Russian attack by strike UAVs on Kyiv and the Kyiv region on the night of February 5 led to injuries, fires, and destruction, as reported by the head of the Kyiv OVA Mykola Kalashnyk and the head of the Kyiv MVA Timur Tkachenko on Telegram. In the Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region, a man was injured as a result of the attack, who was hospitalized with injuries, and in Kyiv itself, cars caught fire and there are victims.
“The enemy is attacking the Kyiv region again. Unfortunately, a man was injured in the attack in the Vyshgorod district. He was hospitalized with a laceration to the chest, Mykola Kalashnyk reported.
According to him, doctors are providing the victim with all necessary assistance. A private house was also damaged as a result of the strike. The head of the Kyiv OVA called on residents of the region not to ignore air raid sirens and to stay in shelters.
In the capital, the consequences of the Russian shelling were recorded in several districts at once. According to a message from the Kyiv police on Telegram, in the Solomyanskyi district, drone debris damaged facades and broke windows in four high-rise buildings. Doctors hospitalized a 79-year-old woman, and another 89-year-old victim was treated on the spot.
In the Darnytskyi district, the fall of a drone caused the destruction of the facade of a residential building. In Obolon, drone debris fell on a parking lot, causing two cars to catch fire. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a drone hit the roof of an office building, and the fire was extinguished.
The police note that investigative and operational teams, explosives technicians, and emergency services are working at all the scenes. The consequences of the Russian Federation’s war crimes are being documented.
