Russian troops continue to advance through the territory of the Sumy region. They managed to capture Andriivka and Vodolagi, where they currently hold positions. Their advance is accompanied by the massive use of infantry, the number of which prevails – the enemy advances in waves, continuously and aggressively. About this informs DeepState.
Kindrativka remains under clarification, as enemy infantry have been spotted there. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively operating in this area, preventing the occupiers from gaining a foothold. The situation is similar in Oleksiivka: according to preliminary data, the Russians control its northern part and are trying to establish complete control over the village. Presumably, the settlement will soon be assigned to the zone of active hostilities.
The Yablunivka-Yunakivka direction is also under increased pressure. The enemy is advancing on Yablunivka from the side of Bilovodi, as well as from the area between Bilovodi and Loknaya. In Yunakivka, the occupiers penetrate to the northern outskirts, but they do not manage to hold their positions – the territory was almost completely destroyed before that.
The biggest threat at the moment is the rapid advance of the enemy at a distance of 20-25 km from Sumy. From such a distance, they can launch FPV drones with fiber optic control over the city, and similar attacks have already been recorded. The Defense Forces persistently hold the defense line to prevent the enemy from further penetrating into Ukrainian territory.
