The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the concept of a new state program aimed at popularizing the English language. The program covers the period from 2026 to 2030 and is considered an important step towards the linguistic integration of Ukrainians into the global space. About this reported representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

The approved concept outlines strategic directions, goals and objectives for increasing the level of English language proficiency among citizens of Ukraine. For the implementation of the program, the creation of the appropriate institutional, financial and personnel base is foreseen.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy is designated as the responsible executor. As part of the implementation of the initiative, it is planned to launch educational programs, trainings and language courses for schoolchildren, students, civil servants and a wide range of citizens.
